FIX. THE SPEED OF TWISTED THOUGHT LP - 13.50 eur
Después de una larga espera T&G re-edita este LP con todos los temas jamás grabados por The Fix. Para amantes de The Necros, The Meatmen y Negative Approach.
[eng] The Fix was one of the earliest hardcore bands in the Midwest and one of the first to release a record for Touch And Go. Blazing away with the Necros and the Meatmen, The Fix is part of the foundation of what would become Touch And Go. This collection of recordings will be released on both CD and vinyl and includes both early Touch And Go singles, the track from the "Process Of Elimination" track, a few demo tracks from the "Jans Room" sessions and live tracks from a 1981 tour.

"Ni Una Sola Puta Lágrima" es el primer y esperado larga duración de FIX ME, la banda antes conocida como E150, después de su 7" debut en Sell Our Souls Records. En este 12" a 45RPM nos aportan 12 temas de Hardcore auténtico, vicioso y violento, acompañado por buenas letras. Una sólida mezcla entre bestias pardas del género como Poison Idea, Negative FX y un toque de Punk que recuerda a los grandes Blitz. Con un sonido arrollador, el disco fue grabado y mezclado por Peach en su propio local de ensayo. Siguiendo la tradición que ya tenían con E150 encontrarás dos nuevas versiones, esta vez de Citizens Arrest y Decibelios. Todo ello envuelto en una cuidada presentación. Sin duda alguna, la espera de este disco ha valido la pena.
[eng] 'Ni una sola puta lágrima' is the debut 12 track album from FIX ME, formerly know as E150. 12 vicious anthems of bad blood and hate towards the current state of the world. They sound part POISON IDEA part NEGATIVE FX with a bit of BLITZ in the mix. Greatly produced you can't help but wonder if they really recorded this monster at their practice space. Following the E150 tradition the recording includes two cover versions by CITIZENS ARREST and DECIBELIOS.

Geriatric Unit es una banda inglesa con gente de Heresy, Iron Monkey y Hard To Swallow. Si sumas la edad de sus componentes casi llegas a los 120 años, pero aun así siguen facturando Hardcore/Punk rabioso como solo la vieja escuela sabe hacerlo. Este MLP, el cuarto bajo el nombre de Geriatric Unit, combina lo mejor de la escuela inglesa (Voorhees, Ripcord y Heresy) con el sonido del Hardcore de Boston (Negative FX, DYS, Jerry's Kids). Auténtico Hardcore cabreado sin florituras, como un puñetazo directo al estomago.
[eng] GERIATRIC UNIT (former members of HERESY, IRON MONKEY and HARD TO SWALLOW) are back with another 12 blasts of raging hardcore that sounds like it was made back in the late 80's. Permethrin Blues, their fourth 12?, it's short, gnarly and to the point and had to be cut on 45rpm for maximum impact. It's half Boston Hardcore half middle age men shouting at the world. It's the sound of four people with almost the combined age of 120 still having it. It's punk, it's hardcore and it doesn't give a fuck whether you like it or not. This is pure music played by people that do it for love and if you cut them open would bleed hardcore.

¡Vaya una joya! Rescatada del olvido, encontramos la maketa que los míticos MCD grabaron allá en 1984, todo un clásico desaparecido de combate y que era del agrado de muchos seguidores, pues pese a no tener ningún tema inédito, tiene seguramente versiones mucho mejores que las grabadas posteriormente, más agresivas, más rápidas, y con un Rockan inspirado a las voces. Presentación en vinilo muy currado, con carpeta gatefold (carpeta doble) a todo color, y con la versión en formato CD para quien quiera tener el formato digital.
